A Bright Colorful Jacksonville Wedding Day

Upon my first ever conversation with Julie I just knew we’d be great friends! We had the absolute best conversation. We talked about the love of her life LeighAnn, and their wedding plans, and about their travels, her show dogs, and the list goes on! One of the KEY factors for me was dreaming with Julie about this romantic, bright colorful Jacksonville wedding!

Sugar Pointe Estate

Julie and LeighAnn chose the super cute Sugar Pointe Estate for their wedding venue! Sugar Pointe Estate is a cute barn venue located in the outskirts of Jacksonville Florida in a little town called Yulee! Being a St Augustine based wedding photographer the drive was a long one, but it was beyond worth it! This day was truly a photography dream! I am absolutely obsessed with that teal water!

Soulful Stems was their chosen florist, and Kari beyond knocked the ball out of the park! She used this colorful wedding palette, and created so much magic! Kari from soulful stems had a grounded floral arch install for Julie and LeighAnn, which was the first wedding that I had seen this at!

Not only were their ceremony details other worldly, but the details inside the barn were pure perfection! From the colorful napkins, to the hanging install to the eclectic and mix matched glassware it was to die for!

A Fun Getting Ready & Colorful Wedding Party!

The first, and MY personal favorite part of the day is getting ready! Julie and her ladies arrived in style with fun trolley transportation! They were almost completely ready for the wedding upon arrival! Julie only needed to get zipped into her dress. Jill Stonier and April Diffenderfer did the hair and makeup for the gang, and they really killed it! Julies makeup was so light and bright, but also cheerful with the tones of pink on her lips and cheeks! Once Julie was zipped into her dress by her sister we did a quick first look with her parents and bridesmaids! These arre always the BEST reactions!

This wedding party is DRESSED to impress! I love the hues of blue, and purples that this wedding party wore! LeighAnn had the absolute coolest rich blue suit, and lapel boutonniere! We finished their wedding party portraits with some trendy motion blur shots!

Not A Dry Eye

When it came time for the tying of the knot, i swear there was barely one dry eye. One thing that really sticks out in my memory is that firstly LeighAnn walked down the aisle to “Waiting for my Ruca” by Sublime. I absolutely love this. These personal touches are truly what is remembered once the day is over! The love that Julie and LeighAnn share with their families is so amazing!

Gorgeous Bridal Portraits

The next part of our day of course is wedding portraits! Every photographers favorite part of the day! This is the part where we get to be creative! Julie an LeighAnns day was no different. There are so many creative opportunities available at Sugar Pointe Estate, and such a great range of locations. You are able to use the wooded areas, the marsh, the blue house, and the barn. We spent the majority of our time out at the marsh, as that was one of the main reasons Julie and LeighAnn chose this venue! Something that is undeniable is that Julie has the BEST and most contagious smile! When these two lock eyes, you can FEEL their love from a mile away!

The Wedding Conclusion

The conclusion to Julie and LeighAnns wedding day was a wild and FUN reception with the people they love the most in the world, good food, great drinks and a GREAT TIME!
