Ivannie & Grahams Valentines Day Elopement

A few days ago Ivannie reached out to me on Facebook requesting me to capture her intimate elopement. At that time they didn’t have a set plan, but I was more than happy to help- if I was available. Little did I know that this would end up being a sweet Valentines Day Elopement!

Ivannie and Graham were married in Jacksonville, Fl on Valentines Day before meeting me in St Augustine for their bridal portrait session. We met behind the Lightner Museum about an hour and a half before sunset, and began our session right away. Lighting is absolutely KEY when it comes to photography, and when the choice is up to me this “golden hour” light is ALWAYS my favorite.

For Ivannie and Graham we stayed right around the Lightner Museum, and Casa Monica Hotel as they had big dreams of some gorgeous beach portraits! We did not shoot inside the Lightner Museum Gardens however. The Lightner Museum is a gorgeous venue, and they DO require a permit to take portraits on their grounds.

Upon finishing their portrait session in downtown St Augustine they were very eager for some beach portraits. We headed straight towards Vilano Beach, which is my favorite beach location locally. Im sure that Ive said this in other blog posts before!

The sun on this Valentines Day I swear was a paid actor. Ivannie and Graham got the absolute best light! Just look at this GLOW!

I was so grateful that Ivannie and Graham chose me to be their photographer for their sweet Valentines Day Elopement. It was a gorgeous day Thank you both so much! And Three Cheers to MANY years!
